In the dictionary by Maxim it says; general truth, so here it is----Generally, May had some excitement for most of us.
My excitement came when I got done for the year doing the DIBELS testing. Dale and I had more exticement when Danica flew into Salt Lake International. She'll be here for the next two months. She was blessed to find a full-time job working for Kathy Kaye foods here in Hyde Park. She was able to go spend a couple days in Oakley, ID with the Mallorys before she started the job. Time well spent, nothing better than mother and sisterly love, right?
Andrew had to take a safety test in California so Lindsay and the kids tagged along to keep him company. After the test was over they hooked up with Nate and Kim and let El get to know her Aunt Kim and Uncle Nate. They gave Andrew and Lindsay the tour of their town and they had a good time.

Nate got his year end testing done and to celebrate, he and Kim went to Greece to see the sights and to do some climbing. I must say they do know how to make the most out of their down time!
Dale and Danica went on a 4-wheeler ride up Cub River and enjoyed the signs of spring---snow and all, Memorial Day weekend. We visited the graves of our loved ones and then on Monday we kept tradition and started out the day with the Hyde Park Lions Memorial Day Breakfast, Danica and I walked the foothills and ended the day with a Barbeque and games.
Probably the highlight of the month, for Dale anyway, was when he found out that he drew out on the muzzleload elk hunt in the San Juan area. You would of thought he won the lottery! He's been on cloud 9 since and we've been hearing a lot of elk calls, and that's the general truth!
Garrett and Zandra have started doing "Insanity" workouts daily to get in shape for summer and
Garrett got accepted to go do an internship in Ghana dealing with micro loans. They moved in with us to save rent for a couple of months to help with their travel expenses.Dale and Danica went on a 4-wheeler ride up Cub River and enjoyed the signs of spring---snow and all, Memorial Day weekend.
