We were busy, but we survived and life goes on----the school bond issue is still up in the air but that's life with a school board.
We did get a suprise visit from Danica. She showed up on St. Patrick's Day! That little stinker pulled a quick trip on us over her Spring Break. She caught a ride with friends.
Amie was able to swing down to visit her and we had some good quality time together. She got to see her new niece and she was able to hang out with some friends as well. Andrew and I took her to Salt Lake to spend some time with friends there before they headed out. We LOVED seeing her, she looks great! I think she might of missed us!?!?
Garrett and Zandra spent their Spring Break with friends in Vegas....they just wanted to go somewhere warm!!! They had fun seeing the sights and dressing up for a night out on the town!
Garrett also did a fundraising event for his Management Class at USU. They raised over $2,000.00 for Hope for Kids, an organization that provides events for terminally ill children. The event they raised money for was to host a Princess Party for the terminally ill girls. Pretty neat, huh? Way to go Garrett's team!!!
The Mallory's had their Spring Break the same time Dale had his meetings in St. George so they headed south with us to warmer temperatures as well.
We spent a night with the Brady's in Overton, NV and got to visit with Jessie and Mondo and see their new little guy, Brady. We went to church, had dinner, visited, and then headed for St. George.
In St. George, we hiked around in Snow Canyon while Dale was in meetings and then checked out the hotels swimming pool with Grandpa.
We headed home on Jaxson's 7th birthday so to celebrate we stopped and saw the dinosaurs at the Ancient Life Museum at Thanksgiving Point. It was a short trip, but we had fun.
We hosted the Annual Hansen Easter Egg Hunt and it turned out to be a nice sunny day! We must of brought the sunshine back with us from our trip! Another good time with family.
While we were having fun in Utah, Nate and Kim were having their kind of fun in California.
Nate ran the Rodeo Valley Trail 50K at the Marin Headlands in 5:16. Not bad, eh?
He and Kim get in runs together when they can, even at night. Pretty dedicated I'd say, but also pretty in a different light, running around Lake Merritt by where they live.
I called this March Magic because it never amazes me how beautiful this world is that we live on, and how spending time with loved ones makes it even more magical.
