Danica and I took Aunt Vonda out to lunch for her 94th birthday. Her birthday was in January, but we still celebrated. It was a good outing for us.I love that woman, she's like my second mom.
Dale showed his love for me by surprising me with flowers and dinner at Callaway's. I gave him tickets to the show "The Songs of Andrew Lloyd Webber" for an evening out. We also got some valentines in the mail from Jaxson, Kennlyn, and Langston, and a birthday/valentine picture from Eloise. It was a feeling loved kind of day!
I also loved ushering shows at the Eccles this month. A fun way to get out and have your spirits lifted through music, dance and song.
As you know, Nate loves an adventure-----he loves his gear as well as a good run or climb. He didn't love having to stay home from climbing Mr. Bakers Coleman Glacier in Washington though because of car trouble though! You Tube saved him from spending the weekend on the side of the road, but he missed the slopes.
Kennlyn loves that she's mastered riding her bike without training wheels as well as has enjoyed playing basketball on a team. Jaxson loves basketball a bit more than Kennlyn though. He played on a winning team, which helped nurture the love for the game even more.
Amie and the kids also loved having Danica and her friend, Cody, come visit them for the day to go skiing. It was a win, win for all. The kids got out of school to go skiing and Danica got to ski one more time!
We love having Andrew and Lindsay closer to us! Especially with Garrett and Zandra moved out of the valley.
Andrew got started on his new job with Aerial Solutions. He spent some time training back east and seems to be fitting right in. He loves a challenge.
Eloise loved her Princess Party and turning 2 yrs. old!!
We celebrated at our house as well. You can never party too much!
Garrett loved getting the phone call from us saying that he had received his diploma in the mail. He is now an official USU graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing & Finance. Way to go Garrett!
Garrett and Zandra both love coming to Logan to stay with us whenever they can get away. We love having them here too.
Danica is loving being on the turf again. She started playing indoor soccer on a co-ed league. She's playing with some gals she played with on a club team and in high school. The teams winning and she's got a few goals. That's the way she likes it.
This months been full of lots of loving----family, friends, pursuits, and accomplishments.
